As the New Year approaches, the Remember A Child program is reaching out to our community for continued support. Our Synagogue’s goal, as the founding member of Remember A Child, is to have one hundred percent participation. Many of us have adopted a child, sometimes even several children, and have committed to saying Kaddish and lighting memorial candles on the four Yizkor dates throughout the year. We are asking those who have not availed themselves of this mitzvah to do so this year. There is no cost for this, only opening your heart and taking on the obligation to say Kaddish for a child who lost their life in the Shoah.
